Glossary of Terms

A.D.T. - Azchacum Deischaluum Thorlinthia, lit. Eternal is the Great One’s Blessing on Thorlinthia, A.D.T. is the Armadian slogan.

Age of Darkness - Also known as the Age of the Black, the Age of Darkness was a time in Thorlinthian history after the Ragn’Rouk
before the arrival of the Monarch. Little is known about this time because of the limited recording which took place. It is known
that there was no space travel for a large amount of the Age of Darkness.

Age of the Black - See Age of Darkness.

Atmo-hype - A hype which takes place inside an atmosphere

Beacon City - The trading capital of Osgord, Beacon City is famous for its unique “groundscrapers,” large and ancient towers with
tiny foundational cross-sectional areas and a seeming appearance of inversion from the ground, making it look as though one is
looking down from the top of the tower when one is actually looking up from its bottom. The most well-known example is
Beacon City Tower, which stands above the city at a massive three rosts high and is host to the Beacon City Hotel.

Bifrost - Also known as the Galaxy Tear, the Bifrost separates the Thorlinthian system from the rest of the universe

Bioswitch - A saliva-activated lock, bioswitches can only be utilized by authorized users, designated through genetic markers. A
bioswitch will always respond to a Sheii’Cronell unless specifically designed against it.

Black Room - A room specifically designed to prevent any forms of communication, even across hypenet, a black room actively
negates any hypenet signals and prevents anything from hyping into or out of its enclosure.

Blue - An enigmatic figure in the Ginnung, the Blue is an elite warrior whose identity is shrouded in total mystery. Little is known
about the Blue by even the highest Ginnung authorities, save for the fact that the Blue speaks for the Council.

Brieti’Muld Industries - The leading company in manufacturing Thorlinthian shuttles, Brieti’Muld Industries manufactures over
fifty lines of shuttles, each tailor fit to suit a different purpose which can range in anything from passenger transport to military
assault craft.

Centiday - 864 seconds. An easy approximation is fifteen minutes.

Classics - First edition Kohstr decks handmade out of a superlight metal by the inventors of the game and which are traditionally
passed down through generations of Valkyries

Courier Ship - Small-crewed ships designed for rapid consecutive hypes, the majority of a courier ship is the hype computer
specially designed to make hype calculations very rapidly. They are used to bring correspondence to and from Armadian vessels
while deployed.

Cycle - 400 days; essentially, the Thorlinthian standard year

Dark Drive - A hypenet connection to the consciousness of several artificially intelligent robots in the Armada, the Dark Drive is
capable of storing the consciousness of the unit to which it is connected in cases of emergency. Drigarmr is capable of
interfacing with a Dark Drive, giving the AI access to the armor’s systems. Dark Drives also actively record the processes
implemented by aforesaid units.

Deceiver - The term used to describe a group of people who intentionally utilize the Forbidden Technologies and use deception
to trick others into serving them. An acolyte of the Deceivers later found his way to the Galaxy Tear and through it to
Thorlinthia, taking advantage of post-Ragn’Rouk turmoil to form the Monarchy and become the ruler of Thorlinthia, vowing
revenge on the Kuli, who had effectively eliminated the Deceivers.

Deep Sleep - An advanced process which halts the body’s functions, enabling survival over extremely long periods of time
without a stasis chamber; coming out of Deep Sleep is a very painful process as the body starts back up. The process can be
activated technologically or through advanced methods used by Kuli and some others. Some species have similar processes that
can take place naturally.

Deep Space Navigation Training Program - The DSNTP was a cover put together by the Matriarch in conjunction with Gril’die
Khuda’Mundi to disguise the Valkyrie reconnaissance missions of Earth over the centuries after its discovery during the
Thorlinthian assault of Fehmadad.

DPU - Data Processing Unit; a DPU is a general-purpose computer processor used by the Thorlinthians.

Dragon Rider - Formerly “Drig Reider”, the Armada’s most elite warrior force, Dragon Riders are highly trained in advanced forms
of combat, focusing mainly on piloting the Thorlinthian advanced Hype-Fighter series, designated with an “F” after the model
number, and Thorla’O

Drig - A mammalian beast native to Thorlinthia which strongly resembles Earth’s dragon lore; the drig is particularly known for
being a flying apex predator with nigh impenetrable hide.

Drigan’di - Literally, “Medium of Life”, the Thorlinthian name for the lifeforce, Drigan’di was one of the pure beings of creation by
the Great One. She is the mother of the Valkyri’din and the Oa’din and is later known as the Spirit of Faith.

Drigan’di’s Day - A Thorlinthian holiday commemorating the sacrifice of Drigan’di

Drigarmr - Named for its resiliency to damage much like the flesh of a drig, Drigarmr is a full body armor most commonly worn by
Dragon Riders. Integrated into Drigarmr are many advanced electrical systems, including an AI interface which goes mostly
unused due to the rarity of a pure AI willing to merge with the armor. The official name for the uniform worn by Dragon Riders
most commonly associated with Drigarmr is the Dragon Rider Battle-Ready Dress Uniform.

Drury Lane - Drury Lane is the codename used to describe the present location at any given moment of the Muffin Man

Earth Games Competition - A Thorlinthian-occupied Earth’s version of the Olympics

Eden - One of the seed ships sent out from Tyria, the Eden seeded twenty worlds before encountering difficulties with its
systems, including engine malfunctions and temporal instabilities. It was eventually repaired by the Watcher and hidden inside
Jupiter’s atmosphere.

Edividt - A non-nuclear, high-yield explosive material, edividt is most commonly utilized in vegars.

Ellr - Literally “elder”, ellr is typically a suffix attached to names of older siblings and cousins.

Ellrhome - A retirement home for Armadian veterans

Entry Carbint - The Carbint is the series of tests used to determine the eligibility of a Kuli candidate for formal training.

ERT Protocol - Emergency Research Transfer; the ERT Protocol was designed as a failsafe in case the Thorlinthians found the
Leviathan. It sent all of the Leviathan’s data to the Muffin Man upon its activation.

Eternal War - Jalihu’dai tradition and scriptures speak of an ancient war beyond time in which the forces of Hikar’Difer revolted
against the Great One, and Drigan’di and the Valkyri’din were sent out to fight them. The war and the events leading up to it are
described in the first chapter of the Book of Taumlin’di

Fehmadad - The home planet of the alien civilization that encountered and was shortly thereafter destroyed by the Thorlinthians
and which invented the TMDS, Fehmadad was the fourth planet in the Fehmadadi’s stellar system.

Fehmadadi - The highly advanced and technological people of Fehmadad, the Fehmadadi were the first alien race to encounter
the Thorlinthians from the standard universe after the Ragn’Rouk. The encounter with the Fehmadadi led to the annihilation of
their race and the first return of the Thorlinthians to the standard universe and reintroduced hype capabilities to Thorlinthia.
Fehmadadi are characterized by their blue fur, which covers their bodies, and three sets of arms.

Fehmadadi Defense Force - The main military body of Fehmadad

Forbidden Technologies - This is an umbrella term used by Tyrians to describe technologies and powers which were used in
ancient times and were later determined to have either a damaging or imbalancing effect on the universe. The Star Channel is a
shining example of forbidden technologies.

Ginnung - The Thorlinthian resistance movement which originated at the formation of the Ginnung Domain

Ginnung Council - The Ginnung Council is a military council of Ginnung leadership that makes the major decisions of the Ginnung
as a whole.

Ginnung Domain - The defeated alliance of Thorlinthian Outer Planets which opposed the formation of the Monarchy; Separated
from the Core Planets by the Ginnung Gap

Ginnung Gap - A field of debris from planets destroyed during the Ragn’Rouk

Ginnung Wars - The timeframe in which the Ginnung Domain was most active and before the signing of the Treaty of Nivlahim

Glascing - One of the Forbidden Technologies, Glascing is a highly destructive process by which all life over an area is eliminated.
Its effect was discovered inadvertently during research on how to transfer the life energy of plants into a power source.

Gordten - Pronounced “GOR-den”, Gordten is a small village in the Osgordian wilderness and home to the Khuda’Mundi.

Great One - Monotheistic deity of the Thorlinthian religion of Jalihu’dai

Gruh’din Pulse - A pulsecar manufacturer founded by Gruh’din Teros’Mundi near the end of the Age of Darkness which has gained
popularity as an inexpensive manufacturer of a large range of high durability pulsecars

Gruh’din Dreft - A model of pulsecar manufactured by Gruh’din Pulse which is designed to carry up to six passengers and a large
amount of cargo

Guardian - Guardians are Kuli who have been assigned a region, world, system, group, et cetera within which or over which they
are to serve.

Hel facility - A maximum security prison on the planet Lokh

High Councilor - The leader of the Ginnung Council, the High Councilor has the authority to overrule a stalemate in Council
sessions.

High Valkyrie - A puppet seat in the Valkyries, the High Valkyrie is the senior active Valkyrie at any given time; however, she is not
technically of higher rank than her fellow Valkyries and simply reports all activity directly to the Matriarch when the Matriarch is
next seen.

Hikar’Difer - Literally, “Life Source”, the Thorlinthian devil, Hikar’Difer was one of the pure beings of creation by the Great One.
He is the father of the Valkyri’din and the Oa’din.

Hrag - A small rodent commonly found throughout the Linthian system

HUD - Heads-Up Display; A display integrated into a viewing device that is used to enhance visual perception of the users’
surroundings and equipment.

Hummingbird - The Hummingbird was a secret project concocted by Larry Denton to make what was essentially a true Earther
shuttle for first response to Phoenix Day.

Hydrater - A device built into Armadian armor, the hydrater acts as a hydrator and actively injects fluid into the wearer’s body
when connected to a ship’s hydration system.

Hype - Instantaneous or Near-Instantaneous travel achieved using the dimensional matrix known as the Hypenet

Hypenet - A dimensional matrix which enables craft to travel great distances without time passing by moving them outside of the
temporal dimension on a preprogrammed course; this matrix was discovered by the ancient Linthians, the Fehmadadi, and the
Thorlinthians

Ice Wyrm - Native to Nivlahim, the Ice Wyrm is an aquatic wyrm with an extremely slow metabolism and long lifespan.

Jal’din - The Thorlinthian afterlife, Jal’din is home to all souls who had been faithful to the Great One throughout their life.

Jalihu’dai - The official religion of the Thorlinthian people; not much is known about Jalihu’dai at this time

Khuda - A common prefix to Thorlinthian names that roughly translates to “clan”

Kohstr - A card game played by Thorlinthians and invented by an early generation Valkyrie; it is the most played game in
Thorlinthia

Korn - A wide variety of plants found throughout Thorlinthia, Korn could be most likened to the cabbage family, its name deriving
from its most widespread species, which is very similar to broccoli or cauliflower.

Kuli - Guardians of Tyria, the Kuli are teachers, peacekeepers, scientists, and healers who utilize lifeforce and regulate the use of
forbidden technologies.

Level Five Block - A genetic and mental block of a Sheii’Cronell’s advanced powers, the Level Five Block was only known to its
developers, among whom was the Matriarch.

Leviathan - Secret Resistance research vessel disguised as a container ship which faked its own disappearance in 3 AP and was
eventually destroyed in 7 AP by Terira Khuda’Cronell

Lifeforce - The Lifeforce is a mysterious connection throughout and about the universe. Its name derives itself from the most
ancient of words, which is not spoken or thought but experienced when one experiences all of existence around oneself at
once. Much is unknown about the Lifeforce, but it is known that it can be utilized by those who are able to cause changes in the
universe around them and to communicate among one another. Lifeforce is known to the Thorlinthians by the name Drigan’di
and to many Earthers by the name Holy Spirit.

Linthi’daag - Literally, “The day of light,” Linthi’daag is a cyclical religious celebration of Jalihu’dai. It is typically celebrated with
worship and dedicated family time. Only volunteer skeleton crews in the Armada are permitted to work on Linthi’daag.

Linthia - The star around which the eponymous system revolves and from whose name Thorlinthia is derived; the artificial
planetary system constructed by the ancient Linthians to be the perfect system of planets

Linthian - As a race of man, the Linthians are the furthest present extent of mankind’s evolution.

Maerskor - Lit. “Maid’s Hair”; traditional Thorlinthian hairstyle worn by female members of a wedding party, including the bride if
she chooses, characterized by two tight buns wrapped in microbraids and out of which pigtails protrude which are curled tightly
into drills

Mi’Onlr - Literally “my hammer”, the Mi’Olnr is the commander-in-chief of the Thorlinthian Armada and is considered to be the
Monarch’s right hand.

Mickey’s Cigarette Box - A gift from his daughter, Michael Shore carries a single cigarette in the box, which has a secret
compartment in which he keeps the Lieutenant’s more sensitive items.

Milliday - 86.4 seconds. An easy approximation is about a minute and a half.

Monarch - The leader of Thorlinthia; until 4 BPD, the Monarch was the acolyte of the Deceiver who founded the Monarchy and
used the reconstitution chamber to stay alive until it malfunctioned due to Ginnung sabotage

Monitor - The Monitors are the Kuli who are trained by and work under the Watcher.

Morridii Range - The Thorlinthians’ term for the Goldilocks Zone, the Morridii range is the standard range of distances from a star
in which life is considered possible. The main difference, however, is that the Morridii range accounts in its determining
calculations the type of star, the average temperature of surrounding space, and the temporal effects of regional gravitation.

Muffin Man - So called due to the name of Wilhelm Baker, the Muffin Man is the codename of the leader of the Resistance on
Earth.

Murhan - As a race of man, the Murhan are the basic genetic construct of mankind. A part of Linthian DNA causes breeding with a
Murhan to produce a pure Linthian.

Necklace of Betrothal - Similar to an engagement ring, necklaces of betrothal are typically ornamented by a decorative stone,
though the stone and the medal into which it is set are both dependent on the planet and khuda of the groom. The stone is
usually the planetary stone, and the medal typically carries the seal of the groom’s khuda on the back.

New Qzcivden - The Capital of Thorlinthian-occupied Earth, New Qzcivden is an artificial island city in the Atlantic.

New Valhal - The first Thorlinthian city built on Earth, New Valhal is located around the Thorlinthian base in Antarctica on the
South Pole. The name later grew to extend to the entire continent of Antarctica.

Nivlahim Static Confinement Facility - A hypermaximum security facility which keeps its prisoners locked in a cold stasis under the
ice of the Nivlahim Ocean. Prisoners are kept alive through feeding tubes and tethered to the ocean floor. The methods used to
prevent the bodies of the prisoners from being crushed are highly classified, but it is known that they are the same methods
used to keep Valkyrie pilots alive and conscious during a manual hype.

Oa’din - Literally “Messengers,” Oa’din are the Thorlinthian equivalent of demons and are symbolically associated with dragons in
accordance with the scriptures of Jalihu’dai.

Ocular Games - Exercises performed by KR3 descendants to manipulate the power released by their eyes

Orbital Range - A set of planets sharing the same orbit

Peacekeepers - Peacekeepers are Earther military and police members assigned to ensure that their people followed Thorlinthian
laws closely enough to avoid violent encounters. Their role is essentially to protect the Earth’s people from themselves.

Peacekeeper Station - Locations from which local Peacekeeper units are dispatched, Peacekeeper Stations are also where
civilians can get in contact with Thorlinthian authorities and healers.

Phoenix - The Phoenix is the term used by Drigondii Sheii’Cronell to describe the process by which he plans to restore Thorlinthia
to its proper place in the universe, initiated on Phoenix Day.

Phoenix Day - April 1, 0BPD, Phoenix Day was the day on which the Thorlinthians occupied Earth under the rule of Drigondii
Sheii’Cronell.

Planetary Stones - Gemstones traditionally associated with various qualities that symbolize the planet they represent, planetary
stones are most frequently found on necklaces of betrothal and marital rings.

Plug Nine - Designed specifically for the Valkyr series, Plug Nine is an experimental stealth technology which can cause the mind
of the observer to see something other than a Valkyr which it would consider a more acceptable sight. Plug Nine has been
shown to be ineffective against the Matriarch or Sheii’Cronells, as well as a few exceptional and highly trained Valkyries. It
requires a great deal of power to operate and automatically holds priority as an emergency system over even the TMDS physical
drives.

Potatoes - While likely a known food product to the reader, potatoes have the strange effect of causing a high in Linthians after
ingestion and is therefore a popular food among Thorlinthians.

Primary Lifters - A highly advanced form of construction technology, primary lifters were created by the Linthians to create large
stonework buildings and structures with intrinsic hypenet broadcasts.

Prison Visor - Visors placed over the faces of prisoners to block out their sight at the guards’ will. They are worn at all times and
can be used to shine light brightly and uniformly into a prisoner’s eyes to disable him/her in case of a riot.

Qzcivden - The Capital city of Thorlinthia, Qzcivden is home to the Monarch’s Palace and the Valkyrie Headquarters alongside
many other significant government and military buildings.

Qzcivden (Jalihu’Dai) - In Jalihu’Dai, Qzcivden, literally meaning “City of Walls” is the fortress city separating the presence of the
Great One from the Void of Vylaha’din and the forces of the Oa’din.

Qzeno-class - The Qzceno-class ultracarriers are an older and slightly smaller variant of the Ultracarrier, more heavily armored and
slower to prepare for hypes than a Dauntless-class.

Qzicy Family - The original Linthian family which gave origin to the deceiver who started the Religion Wars, the Qzicy family was
native to Thor. After the Ragn’Rouk, the Qzicy family became the Khuda’Cronell. The Qzicy family was a very old family, even in
the times of Tyria, and the capital of Thor, Qzcivden, was named in part after the Qzicy family.

Qzcivden West Interplanetary - QWI is one of the largest spaceports on Thor and the primary spaceport in Qzcivden.

Ragn’Rouk - The event in which the Star Channel carried massive amounts of energy and launched the Linthian system into a
pocket of spacetime adjacent to the standard universe and forming the separating barrier known as the Galaxy Tear or the
Bifrost; this launching destabilized the Linthian system and destroyed many of its planets, sending others out of their designed
orbital and rotational parameters

Rebel War - see Ginnung Wars.

Repeater - The repeater is a series of selective-fire rail guns which can range in size as much as current Earther firearms, from
small and concealed handhelds to extended-range and large rail sniper models.

Resistance - The Earther opposition to Thorlinthian occupation

Retree - An occurrence unique to Skogr City, a retree is a tree which has grown from the floor of the city, which is itself a living
tree.

Rym’Yotn - The Capital city of Nivlahim

Saint of Winter - A Thorlinthian folk hero, the Saint of Winter is similar in character to Santa Claus and is considered to be an
eternally young woman with silver hair who brings gifts to young children on Drigan’di’s Day.

Sea Felgr - A Thorlinthian crustacean, the sea felgr is very similar to the lobster but it has two sets of claws and only one eye. It is
used as both a pet for small children and a type of aquatic cattle.

Seed Ship - Seed ships were composite ships built from other functioning and non-functioning starships to house the seeds of
what was left of Tyrian civilization (the Murhan). The Seed Ships were sent out to the eight galaxies nearest Tyria, though it is
known that at least one, the Eden, missed its intended galaxy and instead traveled to the Milky Way.

Sentry - Sentries are Guardians who have undergone sufficient training to be a Supreme Guardian without being assigned the
duty of a Supreme Guardian by the Tyrian Council.

Sheii’Cronell - Literally “Heir of the Crown”, a Sheii’Cronell is a genetic anomaly in the Khuda’Cronell bloodline which is a result of
the KR experiments. These male Thorlinthians are extraordinarily powerful in every remark, but they are genetically sterilized
via a failsafe built into the KR series. This genetic failsafe is overridden in the off chance that a Valkyrie should breed with a
Murhan, as such an event resets the intentionally diminished parts of the Linthian DNA to their superior state but retaining the
genetic superiorities of a Sheii’Cronell (or, in the case of a female, a Valkyrie).

Shuttle - A term associated with short to medium range spacecraft most commonly used for passenger transport

Sjau - Literally “seven”, Sjau is the assumed name of the artificial intelligence which resides in the Lieutenant’s Drigarmr. Its name
is due to the fact that it was the seventh Thorlinthian robotic unit built with a full artificial intelligence that could store its
consciousness in hypenet in case of mechanical failure.

Skinarmr - The favored undergarment worn beneath Drigarmr, skinarmr is a gel-like, skintight undergarment which has the added
benefit of fully regulating body temperature in response to commands given through a haptic interface with the Drigarmr,
which pulls the necessary information from the wearer’s brain stem.

Skogr - A forest on Valhal which, over the millennia, grew its trees’ trunks together, causing a water seal which gradually
accumulated a freshwater sea over the bottom of the forest, forming a forest lake in the mountain range which isolates the
forest.

Skogr City - A hidden city built by carving out the insides of the Skogr Forest’s solid wood underlayer. It was built and occupied by
the Ginnung during the height of the Ginnung Wars. It is separated into an Upper and Lower city.

Smali - A Thorlinthian cattle animal, smali are very similar to sheep.

Star Channel - The ancient Linthian technology which was used to move large objects with almost no effort, including the planets
assembled for the Linthian system; a massive surge of energy through the Star Channel caused the separation of the Linthian
system from the standard boundaries of the universe

Supreme Guardian - Supreme Guardians are Kuli who have completed all formal training and have been acknowledged and
assigned by the Tyrian Council.

TAS - Thorlinthian Armada Starship

TAS Dauntless - An Ultracarrier in the Thorlinthian Armada, the Dauntless was the first of its line, which includes the flagship, the
Dragon King.

TAS Deathbringer - A Blockade Buster, the Deathbringer was specifically designed to cross the Ginnung Gap. It was the last of the
Armada’s commissioned ships not to carry a TMDS and was one of the ships once commanded by Mi’Olnr Gril’Die Khuda’Mundi.

TAS Dragon King - A Dauntless-class Ultracarrier, the Dragon King is the flagship of the Thorlinthian Armada.

TAS Drig Vegar - The first Armadian flagship with a TMDS

TAS Fhit - The first Ultracarrier to ever be destroyed by Earthers during an attempt to harm the Dragon Rider ranks, the Fhit was
carrying a group of Earthers looking into becoming Armadians at the time of its destruction by the Resistance, causing a certain
anti-Resistance mentality among many Earthers and increasing that mentality among Armadians.

Taumlin’di - The great prophet of Jalihu’dai and “first seer of Linthia,” Taumlin’di brought forth the Words of the Great One to his
people, teaching the story of Drigan’di and Hikar’Difer.

Thor Importation Act - A lengthy series of trade laws set in place shortly after the official end to the Rebel War, the TIA consists
mostly of import regulations designed to protect the core planets.

Thorla’din - Thorla’din is the unarmed melee combat form most preferred by the Valkyries. Though it is commonly thought by
Thorlinthians and many Valkyries that the Valkyries developed Thorla’din, it was actually one of the Kuli martial art forms
developed by a Linthian Guardian on Thor whose name and other personal information, including the time in which he lived,
have been removed from historical records. It is one of the oldest martial arts still taught in the universe.

Thorla’O - Based on Thorla’din, Thorla’O is specifically tuned to the fighting style of Dragon Riders, increasing the powerful attacks
but sacrificing the graceful dodges and defensive throws utilized in Thorla’din. Valkyries do not recognize Thorla’O as a
legitimate martial art since it lacks the smoothness so essential to their own and utilizes a wide variety of weaponry.

Thorlinthia - The monarchical civilization based in the Linthian system; Thorlinthia’s Capital is Qzcivden, a city on the Linthian
planet Thor; another name for the Linthian stellar system after the event known as the Ragn’Rouk

Thorlinthian Armada - The main military body of Thorlinthia

Thorlinthian Newswave - The government-controlled news media of the Monarchy, the Thorlinthian Newswave is a propaganda
machine which often manipulates or even fabricates “facts” to serve the purposes of the Monarch.

Thorran Forum - The branch of the Thorlinthian Newswave based on Thor directly responsible for the Monarch’s press address.

Time Drive - The Fehmadadi hype drive system, the Time Drive is the device through which the Thorlinthians developed the
TMDS.

TMDS - “Timids” for short, the Temporal Manipulation Drive System is the main power and propulsion system used by
Thorlinthian spacecraft; it is the technology used by Thorlinthians to enable Hyping

Treaty of Nivlahim - The treaty which formed an armistice between the Thorlinthian Monarchy and the Ginnung, the Treaty of
Nivlahim was generally considered to mark the end of the Ginnung Wars

TSD - Thorlinthian Standard Day; There are 100 centidays (CD) in a TSD. Thorlinthian standard time is conventionally expressed in
ten-milliday intervals.

Ulfr - A flying wolf native to Lok’hi and commonly found on other Thorlinthian planets, the Ulfr is not particularly aggressive but
can be highly confrontational when trapped or when its territory is threatened. It has a natural hunting radius of around fifty
rosts and a kill radius of six rosts, and it averages about the size of a man with a wingspan four to five times its own length.

Ultracarriers - The most advanced ships in the Thorlinthian Armada, Ultracarriers are ships designed around the TMDS to provide
maximum military strength equal to an entire fleet with a single ship. They are several miles long and closely resemble in shape
an eggplant.

Umbodsmother - A Thorlinthian Ombudsman

Ungr - Literally “younger”, ungr is typically a suffix attached to names of younger siblings and cousins.

Valkyr - An all-purpose combat and reconnaissance ship utilized by the Valkyries, the Valkyrs are typically crewed by one or two
Valkyries, but they are capable of carrying larger crews of personnel.

Valkyr Zero - Technically VA1L-KZ0, Valkyr Zero is the Matriarch’s personal ship, built alongside the KR series of experiments. It is
the basis of the design of the Valkyr series but is also kept secret from the Monarch and anyone outside the Valkyries.

Valkyri’din - Thorlinthian angels who fought against the forces of Hikar’Difer in the Eternal War

Valkyrie - Highly powerful Thorlinthian women of the Khuda’Cronell family characterized by their blue hair and shining green
eyes; they are named after the Valkyri’din mentioned in the book of Taumlin’di; Valkyries are trained in Thorla’din and are
highly elite Special Warfare Operatives independent of the Monarch’s control

Vector Hype - A hype that is preprogrammed into a hype computer to go a certain distance in a particular direction, vector hypes
are most commonly used for evasive maneuvers by Dragon Riders and Valkyries.

Vega Lopt - Literally “kill the sky”, Vega Lopt is the motto of the Drig Reidrs, who later became the Dragon Riders, keeping the
motto. Allegedly, Drig Reidrs killed the very sky itself because, possessing a TMDS, they did not require a sky in which to fly, but
their enemies did.

Vegar - Literally “killer”, a vegar is a type of bombshell usually rigged for timed or remote detonation.

Vylhala’din - Literally “Unending Void,” Vylhala’din was the valley in which the Eternal War was fought.

Watch - Created by the Watcher, the Watch is a Kuli Space Station just outside the Galaxy Tear which monitors activity around the
Galaxy Tear.

Wireless - The wireless system is the Thorlinthian instant communication system. Unlike radio signals, which utilize
electromagnetic broadcasts, however, the wireless system communicates using the hypenet.

World Kohstr Championship - Now only one part of the Earth Games Competition, the World Kohstr Championship is a Kohstr
tournament between both Thorlinthians and Earthers.

Worm-space - An alternate field of space-time, worm-space is a method of accomplishing perceived faster-than-light travel by
utilizing “gateways” in and out of worm-space.

Wyrm - Closely related to the drig, the wyrm also strongly resembles dragon lore and has an incredibly tough hide but is a
flightless creature.

Zero G Ball - “The most popular sport ever played,” Zero G Ball is a Thorlinthian extreme sport played in a zero-gravity court in
which opposing teams, fully armed, attempt to score points against one another using a large, spiked ball in the opponent’s
goal. It is known for having many variants of lesser extremes, including a laser tag variant for small children. Originally played by
death-sentence prisoners, Zero G Ball has evolved to a point at which its players wear relatively strong armors to prevent death
without eliminating the danger of excruciating pain and debilitating injuries.
